PEDRO
FERNÁNDEZ
Pedro Fernández is a graduate chef from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris with more than 27 years of international experience in gastronomy and event production in France, England, Argentina, Uruguay, the United States, Mexico, and Colombia. Through his company, The Chef Is Back, he has produced more than 160 events over the last nine years, combining creativity, storytelling, and staging.
In the audiovisual and performing arts field, he has produced the play “Constelaciones” at the Bogotá Planetarium (2018), “La más fuerte” (2022), and is currently producing the film “Imperfecta.”
In addition, he has developed audiovisual content projects for Hatsu and produced campaigns and experiences for brands such as KitchenAid, Café Matiz, Grupo BIOS, La Cuisine, Conzazoni, and Neolith, among others.
His career also includes the production of large-scale events, notably his role as executive chef and producer for the Alinghi team, winner of the 2007 America's Cup in Valencia, Spain.
Convinced that creating a recipe is connected to audiovisual production, Pedro understands each ingredient, technique, and assembly as pieces equivalent to a script, the direction of a project, and its delivery to the audience. Both in the kitchen and on screen, his purpose is to build emotions, stories, and collective memories that transcend the immediate experience.
